We Unite! at the Fox Den kicks off with a punk rockin’ party!
With so many bands come and gone, Ricochet stands as a beacon of light in the punk rock scene. Having recorded numerous albums, played countless shows, and rocked every East Coast city, they are settling in to record a brand new album at SoundPark with Albert Lionais (Tom Fun). They bring the energy every time out, and will be the soundtrack to your party.
Dead Skanks are the other side of the punk rock coin. Fast and furious, the band teeters on the brink of falling apart while delivering an exciting stage show. Make no mistake though, these fellas have hooks that keep ya humming and sing alongs that’ll make ya lose your voice. Frontman James Rudderham is a beast on the mic, getting comparisons to Iggy Pop and Jello Biafra. The rest of the goofs hold ‘er down pretty good. Especially for being pickled.
Thirty Aught Six are a dirty rock n roll machine. Spittin’ angry and loud as hell, the three piece are the grimey underbelly of the rock scene. Scotty Dan and Ol’ Trav hold down the fort, letting Troy rip the guitar licks and yell as loud as he can. With glowing endorsements from everyone who has seen them, Thirty Aught Six might be Sydney’s best kept secret.
THE FOX DEN is at 451 Prince Street, next to Ashby Video. Admission is $8 and is restricted to 19+. IDs will be checked at the door. Admission will be collected at 10pm, with music to start at 11pm.
