Robot vs Ninja, by James FW Thompson, features Cape Stage Young Company members Rachael Murphy and Jonathan Lewis. Murphy was born in Cape Breton but has spent most of her life living in England where she performed in high school productions. In the year since her return to the Island, she has performed in the CBU Boardmore Playhouse production of Pride and Prejudice as Kitty Bennet and as Imogen in the Bandshell Players’ production of Cymbeline. She also dabbled in tech and backstage work for the One Act Play Festival at the Boardmore. Rachael is very excited to be writing, acting, and directing for the Cape Breton Stage Company this summer.
Jonathan Lewis just graduated with his BFA (Theatre) from Memorial University’s Grenfell Campus. Most recently, he performed in Shakespeare’s Cymbeline at Wentworth Park in June. He is Cape Breton born but has lived and worked across Canada and is very excited to be working at home this summer with so many fun and talented actors.
Tickets available at the door. $10 General Admission; $8 for Members.
