Adele McFarlane is a visual artist and educator who lives and works in north eastern Nova Scotia. A graduate from the Nova Scotia Collage of Design University (BFA) and St. Thomas University (BEd), she maintains a studio practice in oil painting, collage, and assemblage sculpture. Her work has been shown throughout Nova Scotia in group and solo exhibits. She is currently teaching Introduction to Colour in the Department of Art at St. Francis Xavier University.
Adele McFarlane’s work investigates the human condition in relation to the environment and uses narratives that connect natural cycles to emotional space. The exhibit will run from October 20 – November 30, 2015. Gallery Hours are 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 10:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
