Cloud computing presentation at December’s TecSocial
The monthly TecSocial will take place this Thursday, December 3rd at the Membertou Trade & Convention Centre. A TecSocial is a social gathering of people with an interest in technology. All are welcome to attend TecSocial free of charge, a cash bar will be available. Door prizes and appetizers (limited quantities) will be provided, compliments of Cape Breton County Economic Development Authority (CBCEDA).
This month presenter Dale Glass will lead discussion on Cloud Computing touching on the following topics:
• What is cloud computing?
• How are people already using it?
• How do you move “into the cloud”?
• Security issues
• Cost issues
Dale has founded and served as chief technology officer for companies such as Iron Sentry, Pantellic Software, and PhotoPoint Corp. He has been recognized as Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2001), a Progress Magazine Top 50 CEO and has won the Halifax Chamber of Commerce Bronze Award for Best New Business.
