Welcome to www.whatsgoinon.ca. Presently, the site more or less mirrors the printed version, but in the future it will include articles that were written but never published due to space constraints, expanded versions of articles that were heavily edited to fit within the confines of 4 pages, stories unique to the online version, more interviews and reviews, archives and a whole lot more.

Keep checking back as we are currently archiving ECMA coverage since 1996 and working on getting some pictures up. Let us know what you think and what you’d like to see here.

In addition to the articles which appeared this week in What’s Goin On Magazine, you’ll find here a review of Neal Livingston’s exhibit at UCCB Art Gallery, a feature article on Carlo Spinazzola’s upcoming exhibit at UCCB Art Gallery and a review of The Vagina Monologues. More will be added daily.

Dave Mahalik started What's Goin On magazine in 1995 and was editor and publisher of What's Goin On and WGO weekly until 2002. He has been involved in Cape Breton's arts and culture community since the early '90s as a writer, performer, and general participant.
