Scenery – September 1996

by Trevor Muller

School has started, fall is in the air, and that means the season is coming to an end. Skaters take advantage of the time left before the snow comes. With the snow will come snowboarding and there’s big hopes for this season, with more people riding, new plans for Ben Eoin park and rumours of new runs. Everyone is hoping for lots of snow this season and hopefully there’ll be more girls snowboarding this year.

FACTS - Michael P. has been rising lately … Justin D. skates rain and shine … Snake is back from Halifax … A.S. rider Andrew Y. is back from Whistler for 3 to 4 weeks … Johnworks at Subway … South pussied out and wouldn’t fight Bo … Jan moved to Calgary …Brian V. moved to Toronto (living large).

If you have the chance to get a new board this year I strongly recommend a Burton or Mervin (GNU or Lib Tech) with step-in bindings.
